Directly following the Dermaroller™ Therapy™ procedure, the skin naturally starts to regenerate itself from below the surface in the dermis. It takes time for new collagen to form but new skin cells are generated and the blood supply is enhanced almost instantly.

About Dermaroller

Cosmedics’ Putney Beauty Salon only uses Genuine Dermaroller. This is a professional device for carrying out microneedling, which is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy as it works to stimulate the body’s own collagen production by introducing a series of fine, sharp needles into the skin.

Dermaroller Device

The Genuine Dermaroller originates from Germany and was first commercialised in 2005 and has a European CE mark classification.

It is a sterile medical device which is ‘single use’ so each patient is treated with a fresh new Dermaroller.

The device has 192 needles on a 20mm wide roller with 8 needles in each horizontal row. It is moved over the surface of the skin to create many microscopic channels, damaging the skin’s outer surface to encourage the body to generate new skin cells, collagen and elastin.

Treatment is designed to make the skin thicker, plumper and more youthful.
